Free write
For this assignment, my first thought was to write about Dinosaurs, however, I feel like since my last assignment was along the lines of dinosaurs it would be very repetitive of me to write about them again. I loved writing about Apex and I feel like I would also enjoy writing about dinosaurs but I am also a little concerned because there isi just so much to write about when it comes to dinosaurs and I don’t even know how specific I want to get with my writing like am I gonna talk about sauropods or maybe more specific and talk about ceratopians. I’m not sure maybe I could even just talk about the Triassic-Jurassic extinction which gave us the big dinosaurs we think of when we think of the word Dinosaur. Maybe I could talk about dinosauromorphs which were what came before dinosaurs and lived in the Triassic. I’m not sure I also feel like so that I’m not too repetitive I could simply write about the Permian extinction also known as the great dying because I feel that not many people know about it and it marks the end of the paleozoic era and the beginning on the Mezazoic it is also the deadliest mass exintiction whiping out 90% of all life on earth. I find it pretty interesting it also includes animals such as terror bird and helicoprion which are animals that I find very cool. On the other hand I can’t help but want to write about the Mesozoic since I want to be a paleontologist that studies the Mesozoic. I still don’t know alot about pterosaurs so reading up on them would be pretty fun I think. But like I said I don’t want my writings to be overly repetitive. I feel like either way though I will have fun with the assignment. I love love love prehistoric life and I feel like I’ll have fun anyway.
